Hi, I am Oyuna, the founder of Mongolian Magic. I was born in Mongolia and spent much of my childhood in a ger – our traditional yurt – in the middle of the countryside, among the mountains, plains and endless sky.
Life there is something you actually have to experience: simple, free, and in deep connection with nature. Everything is about coexistence with animals, the seasons, and the power of community. That way of life is still in my heart.
When I came to Holland, I noticed how little people here know about Mongolia, about its rich culture, the warmth of its people, and its wonderful crafts. I thought that was a shame. And that is exactly why I started Mongolian Magic.
With our handmade wool products and our beautiful rugs, I want to share a piece of my home with you. Everything is made with love, craftsmanship and respect for tradition as well as the people who make it.
