We work with wool and leather because these materials belong within fair trade in Mongolia. They are part of a whole.
They share the same rhythm.
And require the same care. Anyone who views them separately misses the essence.

The wool comes from sheep, yaks, camels, and cashmere goats that live as animals have always lived here. Free. On the move. Attuned to the land.

Leather is created within that same story. It is not a side issue or a residual product. It is the result of making full use of what is already there. Of wasting nothing. Of showing respect by using everything that is given.

Shepherds move with their animals according to the seasons, as fair trade in Mongolia has been practiced for generations. Standing still is not an option here. The land determines the direction. People follow.

Raw wool is sorted with care. Fibers are assessed, felt, and understood. Then comes the washing. Without harsh chemicals. With respect for the fiber itself.

Depending on the product, wool is spun, felted, or knitted. Leather is cut, shaped, and finished by hands that know when to stop. Not everything has to be smooth. Not everything has to be tight.

Animals are not a means of production here.

They live in open landscapes, follow their own rhythm, and are cared for using traditional livestock farming methods. Shearing takes place at the right time, in harmony with the animals and the seasons.
